Thank you, taking time to visit The Gay Wedding Guide.

The Gay Wedding Guide was founded in 2006, and was the first dedicated website of its kind in South Africa. Since then the site has slowly grown, and in that time various other sites have popped up both in SA as well as abroad.

I had the vision to create a site, where same sex couples could visit and browse the wedding service suppliers, with the knowledge that they would not experience any prejudice, when contacting them.

Incredibly this still exsists, thus creating a need for a website such as The Gay Wedding Guide. We have had many a phone put down in our ear when contacting people, saying we are a same sex wedding directory. This leaves a select number of suppliers which are willing to open themselves to this vast and evolving market.

We are pleased to say since 2006 we have had some fairly well recognised companies now advertising with us, and have had alot of positive feedback from companies on our site.

Having said this we are still lacking a large number of services, and have alot of couples contacting us looking professional service providers. Due to the current financial climate, we have introduced free listings on our site. You can now advertise your company on The Gay Wedding Guide, with a basic listing at no charge! Just register and log in and create your listing, its that simple.
